The British are Coming!

Another one of those things I couldn't have planned if I tried! We've been studying ancient history with rnrB. We're using a couple of British books for World History class. One of them is the Usborne Book of World History and features many pictures/drawings of items included in the British Museum of London's collection. Well, guess what just happened to be visiting Seoul at the same time we were???

What's really cool is that the exhibit covered many different subjects and genre--from Ancient Egyptian, Sumerian and Assyrian periods to North Africa to Europe to Asia and North & South America. The way the history book is set up, it features short chapters about various eras in these different regions throughout history. Almost every item in the exhibit, we'd studied in some manner via this world history book. Incredible!
