What's in the oyster?

From the Summer Palace, we headed to a Freshwater Pearl factory. Another 'mandatory' tour--but it was interesting and educational so we didn't mind all that much. Here we receive a demonstration on freshwater oysters, how the pearls are made and the different types/colors/quality levels of the pearls. rnrB & trkr get to experience these lessons up close & personal. Looks like rnrB's rather excited about it, doesn't it?
