After our crazy day of activities, we sqeezed in an exciting night at the Beijing Acrobatic Show. Fortunately, the theater was located across the street from our hotel. Prior to the show, we enjoyed a meal of none other than Peking Duck! Mmmm! The only odd part about it was the 'duck head' they included on the platter. It's hard to eat when your food is staring back at you. :( They serve the duck, I presume as an appetizer, with wonton wrappers, julienned veggies, sweet hoisin sauce, the duck with its caramelized skin and rice. You roll up the bites into little 'burrito' type rolls. It was wonderful!

Then, we caught the acrobatic show. If you ever get the chance to go to Beijing, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!! It was incredible! We were all mesmerized by each act! Just when we thought they couldn't do anything more difficult or death-defying, they'd come out with another act that was even more exciting! We saw plate twirlers, crystal stemware balancers/contortionists, bicycle balancers, tight rope walkers, gymnasts, giant yo yo twirler tossers, etc. It was awesome!!!
