Swan & a Bumble Bee

'Swan' dumpling & rnrB

rnrB displaying one of the beautiful swan dumplings in Xi'an. Each section of the swan was filled with a different 'treat'. One was greens (of some sort), another was carrots and root veggies and the third was pork. The presentation of these dumplings was incredible! We had little broccoli dumplings, pigs, swans, etc. It must have taken ages to prepare each one of these little treats. The food was absolutely scrumptious!!! We soon realize that we won't need the 6 foil packets of tuna fish and box of crackers we carry on the trip--just in case.
