Mis-adventures of a Letterboxer-Errant

Never in a million years...

Never in a million years...

did I expect to be wearing a hat like this. Anybody who really knows me will understand this! We happened upon the location of the Dec 1936 Chiang Kaishek Incident in the Huaqing Chi hot springs park. This man in revolutionary uniform was hanging around for photos. Bizarre!

The weather in Xi'an hovered around 29*C. Quite warm. We packed for mostly cool, Spring weather but fortunately included a couple of 'warm' weather outfits just in case--as we'd already learned our lesson pretty 'hard' on previous visits to and while residing in Korea. Thank goodness we had our warm weather clothes as we definitely needed those the few days after our Xi'an trip.
