Stand off !!!

The small blue buildings in the foreground are Conference Row buildings. Within these walls, occurs the Military Armistice Commission talks between North, South and select few members of the UN Coalition. The two Soldiers you see standing in "ROK Ready" stance are South Korean Soldiers! ROK Ready!!!

This is what the area looked like when we first arrived. Within a couple of minutes, several North Korean soldiers took up positions just beyond the Military Demarcation Line (that 17'x12" rectangle of concrete you see in the yard between the two buildings. Neither side is allowed, by agreement, to cross that line!
