Birdcage in Tree

Not quite sure why there are cages of birds scattered about the trees in this park. I'm assuming these are peoples' pets and that they take them to the park for some fresh air. The birdcages were everywhere! At first, from a distance, I just thought they were decorations but upon closer scrutiny, they're real birds!
